ABCs of Fashion (Part 1)

Hellooooo!! Today is a good day for a good day, so I am going to share a little something about fashion because that always makes my day better. I am going to be sharing with you the ABCs of fashion (Griffith style) because why not? Without further ado, I present to you words that embody the world of fashion in alphabetical order. 😊

A – Accessories

Accessories can take your outfit from zero to one hundred in a second flat. Sometimes a simple pendant necklace will do, but other times it is thoroughly necessary to add statement earrings in a bold color, lots of arm candy, and a shiny ring. 

B – Breathable

If you do not feel like you can breathe in something, then do not wear those clothes! Fashion is not supposed to be uncomfortable, it is supposed to be something that empowers you. That brings me to the next letter. . .

C – Confidence

Confidence is key; that is a rule of life for anything. If you do not feel confident in something, try something new! That is the great thing about fashion: you can wear whatever you want, as long as you own it, and it will always be fashionable.

D – Daring

Do not be afraid to be daring. There are some crazy things out there and who knows why they work, but they do. Mix patterns with prints, wear navy and brown, go crazy – it is your life, after all.

E – Embroidery 

An easy way to accent an outfit with color and texture. Also, a monogram uses embroidery. 😉

F – Fun

Fashion is fun!!! Stay true to your personal style and the fun will follow.

G – Guide

Having trouble trying to figure out how to incorporate a piece into an ensemble? Refer to a guide! There are magazines, books, and blogs to help you out. 

H – Hair 

Your hair is also essential to your appearance; therefore, it is a part of your outfit. With everything under the sun between braids and curls, the possibilities are endless. Show up completely cute from hair to toe and WORK!

I – Inexpensive 

Inexpensive does not mean cheap, so do not knock anything you see that you like based on price. 

J – Jacket

When it is cooler outside, do not let a coat ruin your outfit. Instead, find a cute jacket you can dress to your liking.

K – Kooky 

Do not be afraid to wear something that seems completely outside of the box. I will say it once again, fashion is fun, so wear something that is fun! 

L – Limited 

Limited means it will go fast! Love at first sight is a real thing, especially when it comes to clothes. Buy it if you love it and do not look back!

M – Modest

I am sure you have heard the saying “Modest is hottest,” and that could not be truer. You are priceless; dress like it.
