Winter to Spring Fashion

It is hot outside! It is February and it is 80 degrees outside; that is not natural. However, that is what living in the south, more specifically South Carolina, gets you. This is the awkward time of the year where it is freezing outside in the morning, but by the afternoon it is burning up. Like I said before, it is February and we are already at that awkward stage. I do not typically experience this weather until about March, so hopefully (fingers crossed!) it stays this way through spring break because I do not want to be wearing sweaters. Anyway, this brings me to what I am going to be talking about. I am going to be telling you how you can transition your wardrobe from winter to spring smoothly. 1.       Pops of Color Source: Pinterest This is the easiest way to transition from one season to another. Pairing a basic outfit, like one that is all-black or a simple white shirt with jeans, with some colorful shoes is always a classic way to go. Another easy, but brilliant wa

Girls' Day Out

Do you know what my favorite thing to do is? Well, you probably don’t so I will tell you. My favorite thing to do is to go out with my friends. It does not matter what we are doing, I always look forward to spending time with them. Of course, I also want to look nice when I am with them. Here are my favorite go-to looks for when I hang out with my friends. Off the Shoulder Dress   Source: Southern Curls and Pearls I am absolutely IN LOVE with the off the shoulder trend. I think it is so cute and fun, and it is perfect for everything. A dress is also very stylish for any occasion, plus, you can dress them up or down. (I love this one with the embroidered flowers.) Whether you pair it with heels or flats, you are going to look phenomenal!  Bottom line, this outfit will make you stand out in a crowd wherever you go. Romper   Source: The Mint Julep Boutique This is definitely one for warmer weather, but these are too phenomenal to overlook. Rompers are probably my

Here are seven items that I would not be able to live without: 1.       Neutral Colored Camis Source: Amazon I do not like to go anywhere without wearing one of these. I find that, whether a top is sheer or not, camis make an outfit so much more put together. They help to smooth out bra lines and add extra warmth during the colder months. Plus, in the spring, you can wear them with a colorful kimono for a casual yet cute look. 2.      Dark Wash Jeans   Source: Polyvore I wear dark wash jeans every single day! I love them! You can dress them up or down with the right top and accessories. Let’s not forget to mention that they will be in style for eternity. 3.      Plain White V-Neck Source: Old Navy I feel like this one goes without saying, but I’m still going to talk about it. These are great for when you w
